I went today to AMC to see "Whisper of the Heart," it's funny because I just saw the movie a couple weeks ago on my computer then I saw Ghibli Fest was happening and the movie was on so I bought a ticket to see it. It's interesting watching it in theaters compared to home because I normally put on movies or videos as background noise- Obviously I pay attention but I normally put them on when I'm trying to work on something so seeing it in theaters meant I had to be "locked-in." I really enjoyed the movie, I think i'll put it on my #2 spot on fav Ghibli movies(Porco Rosso is #1). I watched the english dub version for the first time today since I normally watch sub(with exception to Spirited Away) so I thought it was reallyu good! There were a couple laughs which I didn't expect but nonetheless the movie was good. I paid more attention to the soundtrack this time and I think i'm going to buy it for CD; I'll just have to find it first. I love the way Ghibli does their backgrounds, it's even better seeing it on the theater screen as I feel like it almost surrounds you, like you're really there.
I always liked watching ghibli movies, particularly Howl's Moving Castle as I felt like those movies make me feel like I'm somewhere else than where I am in the present moment. I sort of get a feeling of longing watching them cause I feel like my life could use a little bit of magic. ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹ Regardless I also feel the need to say I bought a fujifilm camera!! I got the A101 so its one of their first digital cameras they released back in 2001, almost 23 years ago! Only issue is that I got a 16mb smartmedia card and that only held about 15 photos and 1 extremely short video before getting full. I'm planning on getting the 128 card so I can take more photos, or just moving some of the photos to my pc so I can clear out some space. I was particularly aiming for a sony cybershot or some of the newer more trendy cameras but issue is they were more expensive aaand would take longer ship out. So i got my A101 and i live for it. I don't really want a camera with great quality cause if I wanted one I could just use my phone. what I really wanted was a camera that takes photos that look just like the time period the camera was made and I really get that with my A101. It was cheap too so I also aprpeciate that.ᯓ★ Anyways I wanted to update with this post as I don't see myself updating the site till next weekend give or take.. I've been burnt out and not to mention I just started sculpting with Zbrush again and having a blast~ Unfortunately my brain can keep one focus at a time so hopefully this little break means I can be more productive with updating the site.
I'm planning on adding a photo compilation relevent to my posts and maybe thinking about adding a photography page. As creative as I am I'm also NOT creative when it comes down to website design TT I often rely on pinterest to give me the slightest idea on how I want to design my site so that's why I spend so long not updating.. But this weekend I think I should be up and at it! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
